In this article lets talk about Unitus Community Credit Union Scholarship,In order to help members of Unitus Community Credit Union (primary or joint) whose accounts are in good standing with the cost of higher education, Unitus is happy to provide a scholarship program.
In addition, students planning to enroll in college or vocational school programs who are the spouses or significant others (residencing at the same address), dependent biological, step- or adoptive children, biological, step- or adoptive grandchildren of a current Unitus Community Credit Union employee are encouraged to apply. The company responsible for designing and managing the majority of the country’s scholarship, tuition assistance, and other education support programs for businesses, foundations, associations, and people is called Scholarship America®. The sponsor alone determines a program’s eligibility, and the evaluation team at Scholarship America looks over any qualifying applications. Awards are given out regardless of country origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, race, color, creed, or any other factor.
Since its inception in 2004, the Unitus Scholarship Program has given 168 students financial aid totaling over $220,000. Academic excellence, interest in the community, the caliber of the scholarship materials, and dedication to pursue post-secondary education are all factors taken into account when selecting the scholarship winners. Scholarship America® conducts unbiased reviews of all submitted materials.
The Unitus Scholarships for 2022 have ended
In April 2023, 2023 applications will be accepted. Early spring will bring more details to light.
During the week of July 18, all scholarship candidates will be informed of the outcome of their applications.
Early in August, scholarships are paid out. Scholarship America, the leading designer and provider of scholarship, tuition assistance, and other education support programs for businesses, foundations, associations, and people, administers Unitus Scholarships.
Unitus Community Credit Union Scholarship,Eligibility
To be eligible for the Unitus Community Credit Union Scholarship Program, candidates must:
the first of the following
- A Unitus Community Credit Union member (primary or joint) whose account is in good standing,
- A dependent biological, step- or adoptive child; a spouse or significant other (living at the same residence); or a biological, step- or adoptive grandchild of a current Unitus Community Credit Union employee.
- a high school senior, graduate, or current postsecondary undergraduate who intends to enroll in, or is currently enrolled in, full-time undergraduate study for the entire following academic year at a recognized two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical institution.
Unitus Community Credit Union Scholarship,Required Documents to Provide
You must upload the following document(s) with your application:
a complete and current transcript of grades. Not acceptable are grade reports. Transcripts are required to include the student’s name, school name, grades, and credit hours for each course taken during each term.
NOTE: You must upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately if you are giving SAT or ACT test results and those results are not shown on your high school transcript. These grades are not necessary if you are uploading your college transcript. Learn More
Unitus Community Credit Union Scholarship,Cost$2,500
The student will be given a $2,500 award if they are chosen as the winner. There may be as many as seven (7) awards given.
Students may reapply to the program each year they complete the requirements even though awards are not renewable.
In July, applicants will be contacted. Not all program candidates will be chosen as winners.
The awarding of scholarships
For Unitus Community Credit Union, Scholarship America manages the processing of scholarship awards. Payouts start in the first few days of August.
